Passion Circle

But the fact is, Greg, with the knowledge you’ve been given, you are now on the inside of what I like to call…”the Byrnes family circle of trust.” I keep nothing from you, you keep nothing from me…and round and round we go.

Hopefully you recognize the quote above from the hilarious movie Meet the Parents with Ben Stiller. I love the idea of the Circle of Trust, as I myself have always adapted an element of it in my life. Those who know me well know me because they are a part of my circle of trust, and I like to keep that circle intimate. Likewise, here at Full Circle Eventi, we are creating our own form of the circle of trust. Let me explain.

This week marks the introduction of the Passion Circle. While others bring to you their preferred vendors list a mile long, the Passion Circle is a unique collaboration of beloved vendors. Similar to the Circle of Trust, it is earned and granted to a select few, the crème de la crème of our vendors. Our criteria for the Passion Circle out reaches the status quo, looking for vendors who bring the same “outside the box” thinking, artistry, intensity and passion for their work that we live for here at Full Circle Eventi.

Passion Circle vendors caught our eye, by their unique approach to their art, their passion and drive for their work, their edgy and modern point of view or their vibrant personalities. We don’t like the status quo, cookie cutter productions, so why should our vendors? In the weeks to come, I will be introducing vendors whose work we LOVE, and why we love them. This week will be a short synopsis on some of the vendors already making the circle, since we met many of them recently at a Speed Dating Event! Stay tuned for that!

We promise to bring you the best vendors to fill the Passion Circle, keeping nothing from you.  You keep nothing from us . . . if you’ve worked with the vendors or have experienced their work, we want to heard about it!  And round and round we go!

Also we are still working on a logo for the Passion Circle, so if anyone has a suggestion or images they would like to offer up, let us know! Send it to submissions@fullcircleeventi.com.

Kisses

Networking Social with Brides Michigan and Brides.com

Just got back from the Michigan Brides and Brides.com networking event held at The Crofoot in downtown Pontiac and it was a great time, as expected. Pam and I met a lot of great vendors and contacts to share with all of you. We also got some great ideas from some of the displays we looked at. The space is a very unique location for any reception, be it a wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or other social soiree. The room is an open loft club atmosphere with a large bar on the main floor and a stage for the head table or band.

Brides did a great job in arranging a great team of vendors for the event as well. The décor was decked out in shades of purple and silver. Parsonage Events took care of the beautiful flower arrangements, while The Whole 9 Yards, Fabulous Events, and Display Group contributed to the drapery, linens, and furniture.

Although I don’t have the greatest camera in the world, here are a few images from the night.

We were greeted at the door with a display of candles floating in lavender water – already speaking my language!

I just love the cupcake station with lots of topping options for you to make your cupcake as unique as you.. Sweet and Savory Bake Shop provided all the sweet you could every need, including the dessert pastries: chocolates, chocolate covered items, mini cheesecakes and amazing miniature canolis! The food stations were placed on the upper loft around the room and provided a smorgus board of options including a pumpkin soup shot, salad-tinis, mini slides, and porcini mushroom macaroni and cheese, yum-o. 2 Unique Caterers were responsible for the delectable palate. The photo frame in the back of that picture also features an abstract piece of art made entirely of petals. The wire body frame was also a unique touch, draped in a triple strand of strung flowers. The feathers, roses and sparkling broach add a fashionable accent. And of course, what kind of event would we have without a beautiful cake display, stunning in all white!

A few more lavender touches scattered throughout the room. I love the “giant” rose. Unfortunately the best I could get the martini glass to show was in black and white, but I do like how it polished off the ends of the bar with its own floral touch. Close up of the linens as well, just my style!

The focal point of the room, and naturally the most stunning piece, hovered above the dance floor. The floral and silver ball chandelier was stunning. The photos here, unfortunately do not do it justice, but at least it’s a start.

Pam and I thoroughly enjoyed the night and took home great ideas to implement into our upcoming Brides-to-Be show at the Dearborn Inn, Can’t wait to take the ideas and start running.
