When it comes to “to-die-for” bridal gowns, Romona Keveza‘s latest bridal line is certainly no exception, in fact, she might be the rule!

I agree with Alison of The Knotty Bride, that the most endearing part of Romona “is that she doesn’t stray from what she does so well.  She’s not interested in being avant-garde; her aesthetic is and has always been clean lines, form-hugging feminine silhouettes, the loveliest, richest and softest materials imaginable, and painstaking attention to detail.”  In fact, I read from Alison, that one of the dresses in her couture line took 200 HOURS TO CRAFT!

Romona’s color options are also delicate and perfect. With options in Tiffany blue, pearl, ivory, blush and in some cases, black… the bride’s biggest problem is deciding which of those stunning colors to choose!

I love the detail and delicate lace detailing to these next two. The short one in white would be perfect in black for any cocktail affair!

Romona has mastered the art of ruffles! Definitely not the easiest thing to put to a dress. Yes, they are girlie, feminine, and beautiful, but they are not easy to master. Extra layers of material on any area of a woman’s silhouette is not exactly welcomed by the body conscious bride. But Ms. Keveza, along with only the most adept designers, is capable of infusing them in a way that doesn’t add inches to a gal’s waist.

The inspiration behind RK’s Legends collection was the Jackie Kennedy of the 1960′s, while Couture’s was, of course, Audrey Hepburn’s portrayal of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffanys.  Classic. Elegant. Timeless. Effortless. The way all dresses should be!
